The DiaMarktm marking stylus was developed in conjuntion with a large aerospace manufacturer and E. C. Kitzel & Sons, Inc., a manufacturer of precision diamond-tipped tools since 1927.

VERIFIED TEST RESULTS
In a lab study test on jet engine parts, the standard carbide stylus produced 50-75 marks before tool wear required the replacement of the stylus. The DiaMark produced 6-8,000 high-contrast marks before replacement was necessary.

ENGINEERING AND CUSTOM DESIGN
The DiaMark stylus can be produced for any marking system machine produced anywhere in the world. They can be manufactured from existing prints or from system manufacturer’s specifications. In addition, our engineers can design a tool from samples of carbide tools or can develop a stylus to meet your specific marketing needs or to solve marking problems. We can recommend designs and/ or materials, including hard ferrous alloys that will not only greatly extend tool life but reduce or eliminate marking problem. Diamond geometry is reviewed to produce maximum efficiency and diamonds are ground to design specifications that provide greatest tool performance and highest contrast indentions.

STYLUS SIZES AND MODELS
Kitzel can produce marking tools in any diameter or length to meet an application’s specifications. Standard tool sizes range from 3/32" to 5/8" in diameter and about 6" in length. However, both larger and smaller sizes can be produced to meet customer specifications.

Many standard DiaMark sizes and designs are maintained in stock for immediate shipment. When in stock, DiaMark tools can be shipped for overnight delivery anywhere in the United States. Special orders or unique designs can generally be produced and shipped within four weeks.
